Is there anything I can do before I call for service?
Yes! If your A/C is not working, check the breakers. Make sure they are on. If your A/C is not cooling enough, check the filters and replace them if they are dirty.
What can I do to reduce my electrical bill during the summer months?
Sure! There are a few tips. First, we suggest installing a programmable thermostat which helps to control the temperature according to the occupancy. Change your filters on a regularly basis to help the system to move the air throughout the house. If the outdoor unit coils are dirty, use the garden hose and rinse it with water to allow the air to circulate through the coil.
What should I do after I buy a house?
That’s a great question!
First of all, when you buy a house it is been already inspected by the bank’s inspector to certify everything in the house is up to code. Because this type of inspection thoroughly check the A/C system, we recommend for you to call a certified A/C company who can make a full evaluation of your A/C system and provide you with a complete report of your system functionality.
Then, we recommend to purchase a maintenance plan from a certified A/C company. Emergency A/C repairs are costly and having a maintenance plan will make you feel more secure about your investment.
Everything seems to be working but is not cooling. What should I do?
That’s a very common situation. Keep calm, it may be a small issue. Call a certified A/C company, we will give you some tips and send a technician to your location to solve the problem in a professional and efficient way.
